grrr...I cant believe this company

I ordered a muffler from honda-auto-parts-wholesale.com (sounds shady, i know) and they shipped me a "front muffler" instead of the rear muffler that i thought i was ordering. I call cust. service and find out that they dont even carry rear mufflers for my car, so they sent the front one instead. I told them that I wanted to return it and get a refund, and they said they would e-mail me within a few days with a return # and instructions. So today, I receive the e-mail, and it says I have to pay to ship it back to them and it will take upwards of a month for them to refund me my money. What is that crap?! They sent this longass pipe that weighs probably around 15 lbs and they want me to pay to ship it back because of their mistake? I cant wait to talk to customer service... :|

Sounds like your mistake, unless they actually listed it as a "Rear Muffler"

Did you pay by credit card? If so, contest with your credit card provider. They didn't send you what you actually ordered.

This isn't the worst mail order horror story that I've heard.. Since it COULD technically have been your fault I'd just ship to them the cheapest way possible.. You could try reasoning with them - mention that you look forward to make future purchases but feel that they correct their error this time, etc. etc.. Just be happy that you actually got something for your money

Are you talking about the Cat, or does most hondas come with 2 mufflers?

There arent 2 mufflers, unless they consider the resonator a muffler also. All it said was "Bosal Honda Muffler" on the website, so i assumed it was the correct one. I didnt know there was such thing as a front muffler.
