Anyway to get this? Using the latest bios, a celery 566 that i got from compuwiz that will do 850.

Using an MSI Slocket, 6905 Master. 1.6v is the setting on the card, cpu detect speed.

If i force 100mhz, comp will not boot. If i do auto detect, i can't change the multiplier to 8.5 in the bios (not there) so i can force 100mhz...

GRRRR... anyway around this??

Modern Chipzilla CPU's dictate their fixed multiplier to the Bios. Whatever is set in Bios doesn't mean anything to the CPU. I'm sure there is a way to let your Bios "know who's boss," but I'm not familiar with your motherboard.

Set multiplier in bios to 8.0, up voltage to probably 1.7-1.8 and set fsb to 100 via slocket jumpers or in bios. Disable speed error hold.

There is no speed error hold on the MSI 6163 pro. We are working on it, we think the chip may have gotten jarred during shipping. :(
