No peep from the United States news outlet CNN or Fox News. But looks like terrorists have moved into Grozny last night and started up some crap again:

(NSFW ads possibly) http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=08e_1417702566

Russian went in and blazed the area in their usual fashion. But another link on that website showed some very dead Muslim type people. Looks like we may have another front opening up on Russia between Radical Islam? Is this a response to Russian support for the Syrian Army? ISIS fighters? Random ragtag group?

Why no info on American news?

Radical Islam fighting against Russia is nothing new. Chechen terrorists have been around for decades.

A current fight for independence from the Russian Empire has been occurring for well over a decade...and in other occurrences for much longer than that.

If you wish to choose an alignment and SIMPLY frame this as a fight against 'terrorism' and upon 'Radical Islam,' then that is your prerogative and congrats upon fully swallowing up Russian PR to justify their long brutalising and even illegal actions against the indigent population.

Their fight for independence is a lost cause when they use terrorist tactics, such as blowing up public transport, against civilized people.

Calling the Russians civilized at this point might be a stretch, don't you think?

Don't be stupid. Most Russian citizens are fine people. Most of them might be ignorant and stubborn, but they are not murderers and drunkards like some people on here like to portray.

Like the Russian Rebels in Ukraine shooting down an airliner.

Agreed, that action is inexcusable. Rebels that are fighting there are nothing but wanting to be called as heroes.

Most of Russian population that has a sense of what's going on disagrees with Russian involvement in Ukraine.

The Russian people as a whole overwhelmingly approve of their intervention in Ukraine.

The Russian people as a whole are wonderful, I'm sure. Russia has been on a pretty dark path for the last 15 years though.

More severe than killing 100,000+ civilians and urinating on dead soldiers? Yeah, sure, so much more "civilized".

Uhmmm, yes more severe than that. Have you paid any attention to Russian military adventures over the last 15 years? Try googling "Chechnya civilian casualties".

Also, you think Russian soldiers haven't done worse than pee on dead soldiers over the last 15 years? How naive are you?

Uh no, it's been reported on TV.

They showed video of the attacks etc. Not a lot of in-depth reporting on it though (surprise!). Seems like it caught people (journalists) by surprise.

The way in which one treats a vanquished enemy is rather telling too. We will allow the dead guy's tribe to come pick him up, and will accommodate religious protocol in burials of guys we snuff.

The Russians would skip the time consuming hole digging phase, pile bodies up in a field, and just throw on a few bricks of Semtex.

Yeah!... um, not so much.

Russians, are people like everyone else, and here they are being attacked by religious fanatics. Terrorists.

Russians, via Communism, actually tried to rid the earth of Religious fucks...

so they have that going for them.

I doubt the rebels realized it was an airliner when they pulled the trigger on the launch system. Yes, it's inexcusable still, but far different from an Islamic terrorist group that would cheerfully and intentionally do such a thing.
