Just found out about this site today - I think it's pretty cool, but based on the limited search results I found on AT, people seem to think otherwise. Care to explain? I got a $8 gift certificate for a local food place today for $4...can't go wrong?

In case anyone doesn't know, Groupon is a website that posts a hot deal daily for various cities around the US. Generally something around 50% off. Only catch is that a certain # of people must buy the deal as well...if that number isn't reached, no one is charged for it.

My wife has used it several times. Not sure why people on AT wouldn't like it? She's gotten coupons to restaurants and saved quite a bit of money.

they sell passes to the paintball field i work at. we get a little bit of business from there, people who normally wouldn't play. interesting site.
