Group policy issue

I need to set permissions to allow a program called CodeWarrior to run correctly. My issue is that there is some type of .exe file that needs to run that i cannot find. If i make *.exe unrestricted it will run, but obviously i want to identify the single .exe process. I used sysinternals to try to peg the process but no luck. Any help would be appreciated this is driving me nuts.
