When I came home from class today I saw this little guy sitting in the back yard. I've never gotten this close to one before, usually because they run, so I figured something was wrong.. I called animal control thinking they would just take him away but the guy came and shot it in the head saying that the groundhog was sick. I didn't really care but my 3 female roommates damn near cried about it.
I don't know why I'm bothering posting this, I guess I just like how the colors in the second picture came out 🙂

Oh and it got stuck in the fence after running from the first spot after one of my roommates tried feeding it a carrot.

I'm not that surprised, Asian gals will freak out over anything. I got a call at my desk last week from my coworker that sounded like someone had her at knife point. She was balled up on her chair because there was a spider on her desk. She started screaming when I picked it up and let it crawl on me.
 
Lol. I saw a groundhog PWN a Fox once. Young fox was circling its hole (in a field across from my former house) and spiraled in. Came too close, groundhog shot out of the ground and pegged it on the nose. SERVICE!!!!
 
I'd shoot one in the head if I saw one in my vegetable garden. Those things can eat a ton of veggies... and they can climb fences too those little bastards!
