From what I've read, the motorcycle picture is real, the fried baby is phony, and the splattered body on the cement is phony. That one is kind of obvious, but the friend baby could be taken to be real.

There are worst sites, I think that rotten isn't as bad as others around.

I work with a forensic's person, actually, a forensics entomologist. I've see enough pictures to be able to gut out anything that is found on the net.

<< Who is Bud Dwyer? >>

I believe his name was R. Budd Dwyer. He was some kind of politician from one of the eastern states (I believe he was a state senator or assemblyman from Pennsylvania or Virginia; I am not sure) who was indicted on federal fraud charges. He staged a press conference where he gave a rambling speech denying any involvement in any illegal conduct. At the end of his speech, he opened his briefcase and pulled out a manila envelope, which contained a revolver (I remember it being something big, though I have not seen the tape in years - it may have been a .357, though the shot sounded fairly quiet, so it may have had .38s in it), and then put the barrel in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

Doesn't an entymologist study insects?

Yea, this professor is an expert in forensics entomologist. He is hired by cities to investigate and do his work. The idea is that you can collect insects from a crime/murder scene and use them to identify the time, temp, if the body was moved, etc. It's pretty neat stuff and it's documented on the web. Search for foresics entomology if you're interested.

floating around the web a 6-8 months ago were pictures of a 5 year old boy (africa) eaten by a snake. Huge bulge in snake body just behind head, and also 12 yr old girl (Austral. I think) eaten and partially digested by huge gator (or is it croc?)
