grokster/kazaa 'filefreedom'..how to uninstall

I accidentally left the checkmark for 'filefreedom' on when installing grokster. How do I uninstall this program??? I can't find it in the registry, or in explorer, or anywhere else....

LOL, you got caught with those pop-up thingys!! :p Sorry. Have you tried uninstalling Grokster/Kazaa and seeing if that does the trick? You might find it in your Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Hope this helps.

The only thing I havent done is uninstall grokster and re-install. I was hoping to avoid that, but it appears I will have to, sine 'filefreedom' is not listen in 'Add/Remove' or anywhere else.
It's one of those sneaky hidden plugins.

try to go to this link, and just put any comments
it will then tell you to do these to uninstall filefreedom ....
hmmm.....

To remove filefreedom
1) Open Windows Explorer (in the Start Menu)
2) Browse to:
+ My Computer
+ C: Drive
+ Program Files
3) Highlight the "FileFreedom" directory and press DELETE.
4) All done.

If you receive an error while trying to delete the directory:

1) Press the keys CTRL + ALT + Delete all at the same time.
2) Click on the "Processes" Tab.
3) Highlight "FileFreedom."
4) Press "End Process."
5) Repeat the steps above to remove the directory.

please let me know if it works... i'm working on compiling list of uninstaller for these type of programs (will put out a thread on this in a few days)... thanks :)

Sorry, I rebuilt my computer since the original post, and did not install file freedom this time around. Maybe someone else has it installed and can experiment with it.
