Grocery store sushi ...

I think it's ok as long as you don't get anything raw

Vegetable Rolls and California Rolls are ok...

Other stuff maybe if the chef dude happens to be making
it while you're there

That's the only "sushi" stuff I would purchase from a grocery or deli; everything else is via a restaurant IMO 🙂

The stuff from Publix isn't *bad* if you get it shortly after they make it (11AM or so) I live in Gainesville so its pretty much impossible to get good sushi, even at the extremely overpriced (~$50 per person) place downtown that pretends like they are an upscale sushi join in New York. (Complete with $12.50 specialty Martinis)

I've had "decent" grocery store sushi. Sure it's not the best but it does the trick when you're craving it and have no other options. Plus as someone else said it's way cheaper.

Costco sushi is good. Seriously. I could eat that nonstop.

Now offer me Sushi House sushi, and I'll eat till I blow up.

california rolls? or real sushi?

i find the california rolls to be really disgusting. Sushi is one of my favorite foods too.
