ColorNote

Free, fast, simple to use, several colors to choose from, includes password lock feature for notes, has a checklist feature.

Keep doesn't let you have a shared sync'd list does it? That's what I like about Our Groceries (or Out of Milk). We can add things to the list while the other is at the store, and it updates immediately.

i just did a test. i added Mustard to todays grocery list from my pc browser.

it came up on my android app within 20 seconds.

the thing is if she was at the store and you were at home you'd need to be logged into google in her name.

I tend to use Cozi only because it has shared lists. It's easy to organized into sections too and you can reuse lists too easily. Keep just doesn't work for a family shopping list etc... I like all of us to have access so as someone remembers something you can add it.

Yeah, you can't share the notes on Keep, yet. They're also not searchable from GMail, which shows that Keep is not currently included in the 'Google Docs/Drive' package, as all the other documents in Google Docs are sharable and searchable from GMail (the latter of which is a pretty awesome feature).

If you have ios just use Reminders. It's built-in, so no reason to buy or download one.

+1 vote for Google Keep. Type up whatever on a sticky note on my desktop and it shows up on the sticky note widget on the phone.

OneNote. I like it because it will sync between our two phone. I just set up a check list. Makes it easy to check things off the list as I go through the store.

I use the paid Out Of Milk, I use to like Grocery IQ, the UI's worlds better and it's a nice app. But there's just something about it that rubs me the wrong way.

Out of Milk here too. It's great. I love being able to scan in something when it runs out.

i use pen and paper lol

keep it stuck to my fridge its just faster, easier and overall more coninent

we use AnyList which is cool since we can share & mark lists instantly (split up in store to shop quicker), I just wish there was a web/computer app so I don't have to enter everything on my phone. Copy/paste from a web recipe (or collate multiple recipes to a combined list) would be icing.

Another for Out of Milk. Simple, easy, free (the Pro version has no advantages I can see that are worth paying for, (unless you want to support the developer). I just have to remember to sync when I'm out. It does a good job of remembering items you've entered before, so if you shop consistently, entries go quickly.

i use google tasks but i need to give keep a shot. i like one note, but i never liked editing in it on my phone. i always had a lousy phone though, and the moto x i got recently is nice so maybe its time to change
