Gripes about UD.exe (cancer research)

I hate how you get points by the fact how much time was spent calculating times a certain "random" factor.

• 
  CPU power - that one makes sense, since the faster, the more results per day of CPU time
  Memory - this one does not make sense. I have 192 MB of RAM, I have abou 70MB PHYSICAL RAM free at all times, UD.exe uses about 5-10 MB. Why would I need more RAM then? This makes no sense.
  Hard disk space - 2 GB as the 100% line? It never touches that much at all!!! A download of 2 GB would be brutal
  Network speed - well that one is ok. If I am on a faster network, I don't block a connection as long, I suppose.

I know this could also go into dist. computing, but I wanted it here.
