Actually the E310 is the next version of the Silver B, the E210 is comparable to the old Silver A.

I've got a Silver A, which is essentially the same as the E210 now, as Pheran states here.

It's a great little grill for modest cooking. If you are entertaining groups larger than 4 people a lot, I would recommend something with 3 burners, and more cooking area. Also, if you want to grill when it's below 50°F, you also might want a 3 burner grill, as my Silver A has a hard time keeping temps above 400°F with both burners on high when it's that cold.

We stumbled onto a great deal on our Weber Gold B grill at Home Depot. The bottom cabinet had a small dent in it from the cable they used to lock them up and a small scrape on one of the plastic shelves. We paid $399 for a $699 grill. Took me maybe 5-10 minutes to straighten the dent, and I've already beat the shelf up enough that the minor scrape isn't noticable.

We use our gas grills. 3-4 times per week minimum in the summer, at least twice per week in the winter.

In 25 years of using gas grills, the Weber is the best we've ever owned.

Do yourself a favor and don't cheap out like I did.

Just get whatever Weber you can afford. I wish I had.

Meats...um, could you be any less specific?

JC, are you really that obtuse? The second sentence doesn't say anything about meats.

"Before any fights break out amongst you all, it has to be gas due to code."

Go for the best Weber that you can afford. They are very durable, but also have great warranty and customer service support.
This. Go Weber or go home. Look for Lowes/Home Depot to have a good price on a Weber to get people in there for Spring fix up purchases. Of course there may be a limit of five of these Webers per store so call ahead and reserve one if possible.

got a smoking deal on a 2008 Weber 310 for $199. Best grill I've ever owned. Never understood the Weber love until I owned one. Try to find a used one from 2008 or older as they were USA built with higher quality stainless. The 2009 and newer are partially made in china with low grade SS.

At that price the Weber is probably the most solid build and quality I've seen. I looove my charcoal kettle and it's been functioning perfectly for 6 years.

I confess, I only skimmed the OP before responding.

JC, could you take an internet forum more seriously?

I know it hasn't been recommended yet, but don't buy a kenmore.

I used to sell them for a living, and in that price range it's not worth it. They've got decent features but the steel is thin, most aren't double lined hoods, and the stainless is typically not "real" stainless.
