It's just like DiRT except it's GRID racing. Codemaster really needs a better game pad support. The physics of the car is bouncing all over the place. No music while driving either. Total let down.

It's not bad but it's not good either.

Didn't play DiRT, so can't compare. My 360 controller for PC worked just fine, no physics bouncing. In racing I want to hear the engine and car, not music. This game just shot to the top of my "can't wait to buy" list. Total let down? Pleeeease. This looks great and plays great.

Didn't bother getting the PC demo, grabbed the ps3 one instead and wow, it's fun. I've always loved Codemasters racing games and this doesn't disappoint.

Such a beautiful arcade racing game. I'm going to buy it the first day it's out. The sound, the graphics, everything is just so perfect.

Arcade ? It's pretty hardcore if you turn of the driving assists. Try racing without them with the BMW 320i, on serious or higher. Good lucking coming in third or better ... Make sure you have the lock head cam box checked ...

I like the game a lot, definately a must have, simply because I love racing. It also looks great, better then DiRT I bet, but it runs better for some reason, better FPS. In DiRT I noticed slowdowns with a lot of opponents, no such thing now though. Drifting is pretty nice as well, not nearly as arcade like as in ProStreet. Damage system is also pretty neat.

It's a solid game and the multiplayer is pretty fun, especially at the start of races when you get 8 car pile-ups. It runs very well, Ultra, 4xaa, 1680x1050 on a 8800GTS 640 without any hiccups. I do wish they'd make it less obvious that it's a console port though. Like maybe add mouse support in menus, mouse look, and the ability to make custom game titles.

It's arcade man. Even with the driving assists off, the car moves pretty childish. Yes, it's harder to win the race, but that doesn't make it a simulator. For example TOCA Race Driver 3 had a much more realistic car behavior then this one and that was still an arcade.

A simulator is something like Richard Burns Rally, or the GTR series, games where you really struggle to keep the car on the road and where a steering wheel is a must, to play it right. Grid certainly doesn't fit that profile. But, it's very fun nevertheless.

Is it possible to use a 360 controller with this game? I would prefer to buy this game on the PC rather than the 360, but I like the controller better for racing games.
