just started here on the west coast. i've rolled my eyes about 10 times in the first 15 minutes, but a few chuckles slipped out.
 
Anyone know the name and artist of the song that they used for the commercials? It's a techno song, kinda upbeat.
 
Let's see - so far the lead charcater is a back-stabbing slut. Doesn't make me want to set up a TiVo season pass, but my husband could have different ideas 🙂 (he saw that commercial with the ripping off of the shirt, too.)
 
I liked it. Was fun to watch. Not trying to be completely tense drama like ER but not as dumb as Scrubs. I'll watch it again next week if I remember.

it was also on the garden state soundtrack - Such Great Heights by the Postal Service

I wouldn't call that techno, more of an indie emo feel to it

EDIT: I thought the show was ok, enough for me to tivo it for a few episodes in the hope that it gets better. Allow the cast to gel a little...
 
I didn't mind it. Skipped the first half hour though. Not much else on for the wife to watch after Desperate Housewives I guess.

They actually have quite a few other good songs too.
 
wow, Katherine Heigl is in it? i didn't notice it was her... only some hot chick ripping off her clothes. heh... didn't watch it though, doesn't seem like it'd interest me (minus that one scene).

Thanks for the info. I've heard their album at a friends house, but couldn't remember the name. I don't normally listen to this type of music, so I figured I'd give it a try.
 
Their geography is... interesting too. The main character started off in Queen Anne in her house and ends up driving north to work to go to Seattle Center (which is just south of where her house would've been). And the hospital is a local news station (which I would guess that they picked because it's right under the Space Needle).

I only made it through the first half hour of the show before I got bored with it.
 
It's the exact same premise as Scrubs, just not funny at all, and I don't care about any of the characters. At least Boston Legal has some insanely hot chicks and William Shatner, which is reason enough to watch it on its own.

That's pretty much my opinion. I haven't figured out if I will still like it after 5+ episodes...
