will be sorting out a new interteam race soon. I or Sir Ulli will keep you informed
as to the progress. The present race has turned out to be more of a learning
kerv 😛

I should say, as some probably don't know.
We have been having an Inter Team Race and some of you said
that you'd like to enter but we had already started.
So I have come over to keep you posted on it.
So, now would be a good time to start looking for members to
setup a Virtual race team.

Until I saw the SirUlli's post which included "Overclockers.com Seti Team" as one of the members, I still didn't know which project or topic you were commenting about!

Team Anandtech is involved in so many projects that mentioning which one you're discussing is nearly a requirement in a thread here. 😉

This will be a virtuell Race, no Accound Changing or something else, only a List of the people who will be in, nothing else.

I hope all will understand what i mean, else something can explain this, or what a virtuell Race is, so i am from German.

I saw a thread about the "virtual gauntlet" that they are running and it looked like fun so I asked to check in with us on the next one they did 🙂

It seems to work a lot like our MTRs except the teams sign up as many people as they can (so the teams aren't necessarily balanced) and race for a few weeks to see who can produce the most WUs. Once the teams are set there can be no more joining in. It looked like a good way for us to get to know some of the other teams that we don't interact with all the time 🙂
 
It's also a way of adding FUN to Seti 😉
Though we've had some teething probs, but now we know
what we need to do for the next race 😀
Sir Ulli has posted in the Seti@home MB's about the up and coming
Race, so there could be a few other teams to.
 
Team Captains:
I have a thought.
I can set up an email address for the new race that team captains can email that gets mailed to all.
This way we can all have the correct info at all times. Milhouse is
doing the stats for the next one that will be web based and regularly updated and it will be in a league format.
If you need a special email address for this Race, I could do one and forward to you.

Just sorting out the captains email list mail for the new race, and getting the
team sorted 😀

Please let Milhouse know I was very happy to take the #1 position in our registration class from him recently. It was my honor to stomp him. 🙂

Oh, are we supposed to wait until the race starts before we start the friendly trash talking. Sorry. 😀
