Welcome to Anandtech.

I love Italy. My wife is from Venosa (Potenza/Basilicata).

Fantastic. I'm first generation, but I have family all over Italy - north and south. My folks are from Genoa and a tiny town in l'Aquila, near Castel di Sangro, that you've probably never heard of. Cousins scattered in places I'm not even sure where they are. I can't wait to go back, we're planning another trip for next fall, when my daughter will be old enough to travel.

It's terrible, more than one person in Florence told me that they'd never know I wasn't from there, except that, "sei vestito Americano."

I liked Italy when I was there in 2007. I really liked the cheese and wine from the Puglia region.

So, and now?

Why do I think she is Middle Eastern or Indian?

Shamelessly stolen from this site.
