First of all, it's my first post here so plz be easy on me loll! I'm a student and I'll be receiving 2000$CDN in january from my scholarship to allow myself to buy a new computer. But i'm extremely confused with all the fuze NVD vs ATI and INTEL vs ATI. I'm hesitating between those build. Oh and also I have a maximum of 60 days to send my proof of purchase, so march 1st. So I can wait!!
BASE:
Antec TP QUATTRO 1000 WATTS (enough..??? for OC and CF/SLI)
PATRIOT VIPER EXTREME 2x2GB 1600mhz 7-7-7-20 ( will buy another 4GB at my first major upgrade)
WD BLACK CAVIAR 750GB SATA2
CPU:
-phenom ii 965be ( buy a new HEATSINK and OC when I will need more power with crossfire and sli, and will the AM3 socket last long enough)
-i7 920 (OC later)
and for GPU:
-HD 5850 ( buy another HD 5850 when the price is gonna drop and go CROSSFIRE)
-wait for NVIDIA FERMI ( when....????)
-HD 4890 200$ ( wait to see the battle settle up)
I will use my computer mainly for Gaming on 1920x1200 full detail on my 46'' screen and I want something with EXTREMELY upgradability in the next 12-24 month and OC
