Green Theme PC Build

I am for sure going to build a new pc in the next month and i want to have a green pc theme.
Parts so far:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670k
Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.Sniper M5 (Its has a green color scheme)
Case: Corsair Obsidian 350D Windowed
As you can see I'm missing somethings. I was hoping that you guys could post some parts that would go with my green PC. My budget is $1000. I would prefer Nvidia graphics.

Is this a gaming PC? I ask because your restrictions are going to limit the gaming performance that you can get on a $1000 budget.

$210 motherboard + $230 CPU + $100 case = $540. That's over half your budget right there, and you haven't even got a GPU yet. Add $60 RAM, $60 HDD, $100 SSD, $60 PSU, and you're at $820, leaving $180 for the GPU. In the Nvidia world, that's a GTX 660, which is decent but hardly befitting a $1000 machine (IMHO).

Just green as in the color, or green as in energy efficient and/or good for the environment too?

Its just green in color not necessarily efficiency. I don't really care if i get an ssd i can always get that later. And yes this is a gaming pc.

Maybe green is kind of hard. So maybe you guys can help come up with another build but it has to micro atx and has to follow a color scheme. I always like a computer to look as good as it performs. So the budget is still $1000

Uv cathodes are inexpensive, grab some clear uv green paint and have at. If you ever have to rma anything they may not even notice. I would make sure it is safe and non conductive to spray on circuit boards first if you ever think to try that. . . But even if it isn't there are lots of safe places on and in a pc to paint.

They sell uv green fans with uv cathodes built in, and all other sorts of UV green and just green stuff as well. Search UV green at Performance-pcs.com

i would really prefer green scheme but there are some other cool looking computers. I want something different something different

Is a green windowless case OK, or do you need it to be green on the inside as well. Agent11 also brings up a good point regarding the color. Do you want like neon green or more of an olive drab?

In your shoes I'd get a closed green case and not worry about the parts colors inside. Edit: and/or some green case lights.

You're spending an extra $100 on the motherboard that would help much more going towards a better graphics card or a 256 GB SSD.

You could probably do a really cool budget itx build in a green prodigy with some green lights and crap. If you really wanted to get fancy you could put in a cheapo water kit with green coolant and have a greensplosion.

Prodigy Vivid Green

GIGABYTE GV-N760OC-4GD GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready WindForce 3X 450W Video Card

COOLER MASTER Silent Pro M2 RS620

MSI Z77IA-E53 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Subtotal: $1,023.92

Now if you need an OS and monitor and peripherals we need to trim it a bit.

Ermm...Why an Ivy Bridge Xeon? For less money he could buy a Haswell i5 (4670k) and be done with it.
Also, for the mobo, since it's kinda hard finding green ones (While black, gold, blue and red ones are all around),you could buy one with a rather neutral color (Like ASRock's Extreme series mobos) and make everything else green. However,I think it's kinda stupid to build a "GREEN" PC.As already stated,I'd only care about the case appearance-wise and choose parts regardless of their color.Buy a green led fan for the case and voila, your PC is green. You'll be giving money for nothing otherwise.

Definitely do not get a WD Green HDD with no SSD. A Seagate 7200 RPM 1TB drive is $60 AP.

Also, I question the wisdom of a $300 GTX 760 4GB when a 7970 is $280 AR. This is a blower card to better suit the Prodigy.

Yea I would agree, he says he's an nvidia fanboy though.

Good catch I had an ssd on there and forgot to change the hdd when I removed it.
