My friend has been running on a 21" moniter that he picked up from a trade show. He figured it was the moniter to blame, but when he brought his computer over to my house, we found out that it was accually his graphics card. The green dot grid take up over half of the screen. Does anyone else have this error? any ideas if its a hardware or software error? its fine in windows and such, just when it starts running games, opengl?

This happened to my old TNT2 ultra, i think it means the memory on the card is going or bad. Do you still have a warranty on the card? If you do then they will probably replaced it. When i called Guillemot about my card they replaced it no problem.

Try underclocking the card if you can, see if it gets rid of the problem?

Happened to me. After a short while, it also happened when playing videos. Then, it was all the time. Had to RMA the card, it's currently in Canada. I'm guessing heat damage. Not sure how to prevent it in the future. Hopefully they'll just give me a later-revision board (mine was -01) that's a little tougher.

Did you ever see the fan spin up? Maybe it's stuck or faulty! it heppens ;)

But yea, RAM that card, it shouldn't be doing that under any circumstances (unless overclocked) Then your on ur own boat.
