I like unbleached recycled paper, It's gray, as opposed to white. Much easier on my eyes.

Most of these "green" products are a load of crap. By that I mean "green" has a vary loose definition and most are no more environmentally friendly than any other design thanks to RoHS and 45nm and smaller processes. So really, it all boils down to aesthetics. I like the bamboo look. They kind of has a retro 70s feel to them. I wouldn't pay a huge premium for that though. It's worth noting that the Dell Studio Hybrid they show is not $500. That's just what the system starts at. To get it wrapped in bamboo costs an extra $100. At least if you buy the pink one, Dell donates $5 to breast cancer research.

lol. it's green because it's made of wood. right.

there is no such thing as a 'green' computer. with current advances in technology, they're all becoming highly efficient. buy something with an efficient processor and no dedicated gpu, and viola, it's 'green.'

I painted one of my old cases green, does that count? The whole going green fad is stupid imo...

I think the bigger issue is making sure that old, obsolete computers are properly reused (donated to charity, etc.) or recycled if they're completely broken and worn out. Using the raw materials from old PCs to make new computers is a great idea.

Pretty much this. The case is the least of the problematic computer components. A computer's full of toxic materials, especially when you put a bunch of them together. The "greenest" computer would be a bamboo abacus that was made from recycled chopsticks :^D
