Green AMD CPU

Nah, that's not the case... I got an OEM 1600+ and it's green. All the ones I've used recently in builds have been green as well... last brown one I saw was my friend's 1800+ he got back in April. Not sure what the deal is.
 
my understanding is that they just switched packaging... has no bearing on cpu type or performance... just that the newer ones will be green 🙂
