In fairness to Bosa, he can be a raging douchebag if he wants. That's his right. However, when he's "on the clock", as he is when he's on the football field, he needs to abide by the rules of his employer. And they've said no political messaging.

And make no mistake, I think Bosa is a dispicable human being. He's done a good job, for the most part, of keeping low, and scrubbing social media of some of his worst Maga thoughts the last few years, but that doesn't hide the fact that he's said them. The hypocritical jackass called Colin Kaepernick a clown for feeling the need to fight for equality. And now he pulls this stunt.

Again, this isn't about suppressing free speech. Bosa is free to go on Xitter and post whatever the hell he wants on his own time. That's his right. But he's not allowed to do so on company time, because his bosses said you can't.

Personally, I'd fine Bosa the first time with a warning that any future transgressions will result in suspensions. And I'd put a league wide memo to all players, coaches, and ownership about this.

Regarding Colin Kaepernick, I was very conflicted with that situation. On the one hand, fighting for equality is honorable, on the other hand, the rules of the league prohibits political messaging. With the obvious exceptions of the officially approved ones.

I'm also not a fan of having real life intrude on the make-believe world of sports. Let's face it, in the grand scheme of things, how each team performs means very little. Which team wins the championship means very little. It's basically a soap opera for sports fans. That's why I say it's make-believe.
