Greatest...Resume...Application... EVER

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted up already. As of recently, there's been a vid circulating around the internet like wildfire. It's a video CV made by a Yale student who applied to UBS. No wonder Ivy Leaguers are stereotyped as the biggest BSers in the world...
Impossible is Nothing

This is so famous, he even has his own Wikipedia entry:
Wikipedia: Aleksey Vayner

Don't forget to take a look at the resume. It's.... awesome.

My mistake. I searched pretty thoroughly for his name (first and last), yale, UBS. Nothing popped up. In either case, this is either the work of a satiric genius or a total tool. My vote swings for the latter.

I agree with the guy though. Yes, he is a cocky bastard, but who cares, the philosophy is good.

He just spouted meaningless buzzwords. His whole video is about how he has achieved success in life, but all of his success is fake. Apparantly his philosophy hasn't helped him much.

You could sum up his whole video with one word - confidence.

I guess... Success is an internal intellectual thing though. Just because the person talks in abstracts doesn't mean the philosophy is not true.

I will agree that if this was a resume, it does not really show anything other than what he could do physically, but the philosophy is still good.

**EDIT**
I do disagree with the philosophy in one aspect though, people with more money have more opportunities for monetary success than others. Many times making money is about who you know and what opportunities are given.

But success in a different viewpoint could easily follow some of those "buzzwords".

I agree with everything he said, but he is just a super dork. That 405lb bench is very impressive for his size though. He had 3 guys spotting him, but they didn't help much.

Donny Deutsch said he'd hire the guy sight unseen? What a douche.

The guy in the video is undoubtedly a total douche. And regardless of how much he falsified, the guy has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is willing to go to extreme lengths in order to succeed. He went overboard and underwater, but if he toned it down, and didnt lie so damn much, he might have gotten the job.

If I needed a salesman, or some other position where a combination of confidence, sleaziness, douchiness and persuasiveness made a man a success, I'd hire him any day.

As a financial analyst...not so sure.

He's ambitious and persistent. He sound like a tool and have no charisma at all. He accomplish lots of diverse physical activities and all of his efforts is gear just to reach those goals. All he demonstrate that he have the tenacity and drive to achieve physical goal and fail to demonstrate that he have the deep analysis and foresight to be a decent finacial advisor.

hehe, i saw this on one of the morning news shows, and the people in the show were laughing @ him, lol (except for the females on the show, who said they felt sorry for him, but mentioned he had good intentions, but still laughed anyway)

Well, he did try, and being a Yale grad, i'm sure he's a lot brighter and ambitious than I am, hehe.

Turds for brains rarely get into yale in the first place.

Yeah, Yale graduates are typified by our svelte, extremely articulate, and positively insanely intelligent President who absolutely didn't get into Yale based upon his family connections or money, as is the case with very few students who get "early in" application and admittance to most Ivy Leagues (some of which are now stopping that practice).

You are right, privileged and rich children are rarely dumb.
