Well I think if you asked Bob Marley himself or anyone in Reggae, they'd say Redemption song. It certainly is Reggae as a previous poster questioned and pretty much sums up the entire genre and culture in 1 song.

Barrington Levy - Here I Come is one of my favorites, not just for raggae, but for all music, only heard it because it was in one of the Grand Theft Auto games on the reggae station which i was flipping by 😛. Think I only have two Reggae tracks on my playlist, the other is Buffalo Soldier by Bob Marley. I might have a few more reggae tracks, I'm not really sure what would qualify as reggae.

edit: I'm not sure why i saw this thread, it's like exactly a month old, weird.

my favorite tracks:

gregory isaacs - night nurse (great melody, and its a popular song that has been redone to death)
steel pulse - rollerskates 🙂music: life, life without music/ i cant go no :music: )
pato banton - dont sniff the coke (just a fun song with a story being told, including pato mimicking voices)
k-os - superstarr part i (has an old school reggae beat to it, just sounds great)
dj quik - bombudd ii (dont know if this really counts or not, but another song that is a throwback to old reggae songs)

other great artists that i enjoy are barrington (saw him in concert a couple of years ago), don carlos, peter tosh and of course, the man, the myth, the legend: bob.
