Exposé for the Mac has to be the best OS feature of all time!!!

Have like 3 programs and 5 different windows up and hit one key and get to see all of them and switch from window to window with ease.

Here are some examples of it in use

150 different windows? Nuts.
Another more typical use

I use this feature constantly when playing on the Mac.

I can't think of any other OS feature that I find as useful as this one.
It is really useful for killing pop-behind web ads that can get lost.

I remember playing with a similar feature in Kubuntu 8.10 (with KDE 4.1). Really cool feature to just be able to hit F9 or Ctrl+F9 (whatever it was) to pull up all my windows like that. The Alt-Tab functionality was also much better than Windows (XP and earlier) as it would bring that window into focus to see if it was the one you wanted.

I am clueless what you mean.

I just use the f3 key and all the windows pop up and then switch to the one I want.

You mean like Window's Windows + Tab or Alt + Tab? Vista is pretty good, and Windows 7's version is even better.

I forgot that you can hit a F button. I set it up for Hot Corners so I can just move my mouse to the bottom right of my screen and have it accomplish the same thing.

Alt- Tab on windows is not even close. At least for Vista.

On the Mac you hit the f3 key and all the windows shrink to smaller size and all sorta of tile the screen. Then you just place the mouse over the window you want and click the mouse and that becomes the front window.

It is amazingly easy to use and far better than scrolling through windows via alt-tab.

In vista you hit alt-tab and then click on the one you want. Or scroll. Whichever you prefer.

How does the Windows 7 version differ? I haven't gotten around to installing the release candidate. It'd be great if the copied Expose, I haven't found a good Windows equivalent (I tried a few)

macs do suck, 99% of the time on my macbook pro i'm using xp via parallels

the best OS feature of macs is Bootcamp, even though that still totally sucks with shitty drivers (hence me using parallels)

expose is extremely handy. snow leopard will take it one step further since it now has expose built into the dock! :)

meh, windows 7 jump list and windows tab are more than enought for me, never really had the issue of finding the running programs in windows like I do when I use a mac.

That looks cool, but toggling is slow when you have more than a couple windows open.

Expose > Alt+Tab/cmd+tab > Windows+Tab

Actually the only feature I envy is Spaces.

I love spaces but never use it.

It is just a great system to manage multi-monitor setups! Windows has lots of software that doesn't play well with it. Spaces is built right into the OS and I just drag apps to the window I want. So easy.

Otherwise I don't like the OS that much. :)

Vista one is just a glorified version of alt-tab. I'd rather have the expose anyday.
It seems like such a simple and straight forward feature too.
