O man, I forgot last night because I was so tired, but what about Miles Davis and Duke Ellington? Those fellas are very talented and visionary.

Yep, I like Gilmour for his musicial talent, but I like Waters' lyrics a bit more. Waters had the whole concept album in his mind. Gilmour does all of the guitar solos, which rock. It was a tough choice, but I like Gilmour more.

OH my goodness... all these classical composers... and not one mention of Claude Debussy... (ok he's not really classical)

bach...mozart...beethoven.....brahms...shubert....
sorry I don't like romantic period composer...so no chopin or lizt.
and no, modern classical music is too abtract to me, so no solonen or shoenberg:eek:

They were a great pair. I like both, I just really admire the lyrics that Waters wrote and that is why I would place him ahead. But Gilmour is awesome as well.

Pink Floyd is my favorite band.
