From "There will be Blood:"

-The entire opening sequence. As an homage to the opening of 2001....film doesn't get much better than these moments.

-"I hate most people" dialogue. Plainview speaking with his "brother."

-First performance at Eli's church: "That was a god-damn hell of a show, Eli." scene.

-The Milkshake scene.

Such a freaking awesome flick. I get a stiffy every time. 😀

I am surprised this was not mentioned...the two scenes in children of men.

The car chase scene, that clip was the longest no cut shot I had ever scene...so smooth too.

And the part when they are running through that village of people being deported.

So many other movies I would choose too...that just came to mind.

The climax of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Probably not the best ever but I watched it this weekend and had forgotten how awesome that standoff was.

A lot of good ones mentioned already. I always found Elias' death scene in Platoon to be great. I was very little when I saw this movie in the theatre and the eyes started watering a bit at this part. 😱

Full Metal Jacket boot camp is awesome as well

I don't even particularly like war movies that much, so kind of funny I would pick these scenes.

#1 Cousin Dale (Crispin Glover) "I'm making my lunch!" scene from Wild at Heart. This is a 2-3 minute flashback narrated by Laura Dern's charater, Lula, in which she describes her psychotic cousin. Crispin Glover plays the part of Dale to PERFECTION!

#2 Alex (Malcolm McDowell) gets his glazzies pried open while preening doctors tolchok his gulliver with violent imagery and The Ninth plays in the background.

#3 Billy Bibbitt (Brad Doruf) freaks out over nurse Ratched's threat to tell his mother about his night of fun with a prostitute.

#4 Peter Loew (Nicholas Cage), looking like he's a washed up drunk, staggers down a busy city street wearing cheap plastic vampire teeth, yelling in an insane lisp at passersby "I'm a vampire!".

#5 Billy Hayes (Brad Davis) walks through the airport and customs in Turkey, during the opening of, Midnight Express.

Honorable Mention Sara Goldfarb (Ellen Burstyn) dreaming about the refrigerator and being on television.

Near the end of Band of Brothers when Buck Compton comes across Toye and Guarnere after their legs have been blown off. That was amazing.
Such a great series in general, 10 hours of perfect acting.

For raw emotion it had to have been the seen from Nature Born Killers during the interview in prison.

For the perfect climax along with emotion it has to be the end of SEVEN.
