While searching for good deals on video cards I found the "ATI OEM SAPPHIRE RADEON 9800 128MB Non Pro". It is on sale on newegg for only about 250, heres the link
The Link
Anyway the reason I put this up is because I wan't to know is this really a good deal or would it be a bad decision to buy this cheap card that looks so good?

Wlecome to the forums!

Hot Deals should be used to post when you've found a real bargain. Newegg prices are generally near the lowest, and anything much lower is usually being sold by a semi-reliable company (low rating at www.resellerratings.com). But they are everyday prices not a special deal. And everyone here already knows to shop at newegg :)

For questions like yours, the Video forum is probably the best one to post in, for example with a title like "Sapphire 9800 non-pro, anything better for $250?"

But anyway, this is a good card at a good everyday price with no tricks or rebates needed. So buying it would not be a bad choice, even though somewhere in this forum you might find a slightly better deal on a 9800 non-pro.

I recently bought this same card. It's awesome. Haven't flashed it to Pro yet but I've heard mostly success stories with the Sapphire's.

^^ stay away from BuyExtremeGear -- they are spammers and have been caught posting fake positives on resellerratings.com to try to raise their poor rating. Pay the extra $12 to get it from a reliable company like newegg.

it depends on what application (and if you are using AA) you are testing.
