Great Time for Disney World

I leave for Orlando this evening and am staying through Monday. I cannot wait to get down there and have my entire vacation ruined by everything shutting down at Disney World and having nothing to do and having already paid for the tickets.

Anyone in that area give me any additional insight? Or a prayer of hope? 🙁
 
Don't wear a parachute that's for sure.

In regards to your tickets - Disney is pretty good with their CS - call up, ask them what you can do with the tickets, I'm sure they'll make arrangements to refund or get your tickets setup for a different date. Especially with the hurricane and everything, you're definitely not the only one with ruined plans.
 
Hey, at least you don't own a home here. This is going to be the second major storm in less than three weeks. I already have shingles missing, I don't need any more to disappear.
 
I thought Disney World tickets NEVER EXPIRE! So have fun and go somewhere else and next time choose a month that isn't part of hurricane season.
 
There really looks like no shot of this storm missing Orlando, huh? Even if it does... I bet all the precautions people are taking will shut things down anyway 🙁
 
I'm supposed to be heading into Orlando on Friday night to visit my girlfriend who lives on the coast. I have a feeling we might have to change our plans to another weekend.
 
I would just go and hang out in the hotel most of the time. At least Friday to Sunday.

Just try not to spend more money than you have to, and it might help with the feeling of a wasted trip.. lol

 
I'm going to down to Orlando for Labor Day weekend. Last time I went to Orlando, Hurricane Charley went right through it. Hopefully this won't be a trend 🙁
 
Talked to Disney representatives and they claim that the are still operating as normal and intend to through the weekend
