 <--drink me

UPDATE: After standing in line for 2 hours while it snowed, wearing just shorts and a hoody I got my tickets... I was intending on buying my tickets at a local brewpub, but those fvckers devised some sign up system for their regulars so I had to go to another location...hence the lack of appropriate clothing.

Alls well that ends well I guess. :)

I went last year and it was really a lot of fun. I had probably 40 samples (tended to be 3-4 ounces each), only 3-4 of which I didn't care for. The crowd was very pleasant, a fair percentage of which were people of gender and hot.

I sent in my payment but didn't get tickets last year.
Their method of giving out tickets is lame!
I am going to try again this year.

i always wondered if that happened....

they limit the festival to 5000 people, in part to appease city security concerns and in part to keep the festival happy and carefree (people get grumpy standing in line all day).

We have a similar event in Decatur that's just a sloppy drunkfest by the end of the day. I gave up on it.

I hope dogfish makes it this year, but they probably won't since they are east coast and don't really need the PR anymore. Even more, I hope Avery has a booth.

Last year i would guess that there were over 50 bourbon aged porters, 75 imperial stouts, 75 imperial IPAs, and several others out there in dogfish land.
