How about a "LAST 20 POSTS" feature, where we can see the last 20 posts we posted.

Also, when we solve the problem we had, we can quickly update it so that readers know that we solved it.

I don't know about the first feature... maybe it could be added to the 'Today' section. Not sure how it would be resource-wise...

As for the second item, it's already implemented, IMO. Just use the Edit feature and make note in the original post that you've solved the problem.

The first idea... a way to search for topics 'posted' by a specific user, has been discussed before (and shot down). It's still a good idea, and would love to see it some day. (/me winks to Zuni)

As for the second idea, just do something like JW310 mentioned. I did so in this post here (and then bump it if you feel it's necessary). ~ mind you, I didn't solve the problem, but the idea is still the same.Use the tools Zuni gives you. They work pretty good!

i know its great, but could you move it up over "Hot Topics"? I mean, wouldn't we want to see our latest topics instaead of someone else's topics?
