This TV is at $799.99. LINKY Samsung 50 in. (Diagonal) Class 720p 600 Hz Plasma HD Television ENERGY STAR®

Go to SEARS.

Use your Sears card or sign up for one. They will give you an extra $10 off with a new card.

You then have 2 options:

1. 10% off with your Sears card (on electronic purchases over $500).

2. No Interest till 2011.

The 10% off puts the TV at $762 with 6% sales tax.

I tried getting the 10% off on the website but could not. Sears does do BING but not sure of exactly what you will get off this.

I went to the store to confirm this deal and they said it would be good on this TV.

If you lik Best Buy then they have it also at $799.99.

Nice, I don't know how Samsung plasmas compare to Panny plasmas but I just got that 42 inch Panasonic and the picture absolutely blows away any LCD I've seen.

Its 720p and is much better than both a 1k 40 inch Sony 1080p LCD and a 1400 dollar Samsung 46 inch LCD that other family members have bought the past year. I honestly can't believe people that knock the picture quality on the cheap plasmas. Its a joke.

Samsung and Panasonic are prolly the 2 best at Plasma Panels these days.

Either Brand you cant go wrong. However with 720p, Just make sure you are sitting around 8 Feet away or else you will see the larger 720p pixel size.

Its easy to see the difference if you have some type of large wording up on the screen. The jaggies are more prevalant on the 720p sets.

I was at BB today comparing the 720p and 1080p versions of the Sammy 50". Up close you can tell. 8' away its not worth the extra $300. So it depends on your viewing distance and how much Blue Ray you are going to watch at that distance.

Any doubts go to the AVS Forums.

Just bought one today. Went through Bing and US Appliance had it for 789.00 shipped - 39.99 cash back = 749.01. The Sears deal would be better if you wanted wall mount and installation (200 rebate).

Where is that rebate? I thought I saw it the other day but cannot locate it anymore.

Go to sears.com and search for PN50B450. On the right side of the page is a $ with special offers. Click this and you will see the 200 rebate for the mounting and installation. Remember to go through Bing for the cash back. 8.25% tax in my area killed this deal for me.

Thanks. Got it. It was under the Mail-in rebate Details linky above the special offers link.

Wonder how much Sears charges for the instalation?

Going there now.

Their instalation is $319 so add that to the bill with a $200 rebate.

Still it was a good price on a 50".

I think the sale is over today on it.
