Don't get Timesplitters and Unreal Tournament. Generally these kind of games(FPS) suck compared to their PC counterparts. Anyways, my friend rented Unreal Tournament and played on my PS2, and we got bored in half an hour because of the funky controls.

Games to get for PS2....SSX, Summoner, Fifa 2001, Madden 2001, DOA2 Hardcore, Tekken Tag and Ridge Racer V.

I dunno, maybe I suck, but Timesplitters was just too awkward to play; I kept getting killed so fast I couldn't enjoy the 3D surroundings... I just didn't have the patience to learn to use the controls. Thank goodness I only paid $20 via FamilyWonder's great sale. I do have to say, Madden 2001 is incredible... I feel like I'm watching a real game almost. Almost.

Arg!!! NO!!!! Just figured out what the wish list is, made a $90 purchase about 10 minutes ago and could've saved myself a little. Oh well, way it works is that instead of adding to your cart you add to wish list. Then you email the wish list out to family and friends, and when they buy something from your wishlist they get 10% off. Great if you have lots of family.

I don't why anyone would think timesplitters is hard to play. I guess they just don't have good hand-eye coordination. I loved that game.. especially with more than 2 players.

Ack! I cringed when I saw auyong's game recommendations. Most of those games are crap, or regurgitated crap. There are only 4 decent games on PS2 right now: SSX, Sky Odyssey, Midnight Club: Street Racing, and Smuggler's Run. Still, RENT before you buy any of these games, because I hear even SSX (supposedly the best) gets old quickly. And don't listen to store clerks. I have seen clerks that know better recommend sh1t games.

I thought madden was going to suck because a lot of review say its just an better graphic version of the PS1 game, but I play it every chance I get.

I'm returning SSX to Hollywood video tomorrow but that's a definate BUY!

Summonner, Kessen, and X-Squad were big disappointments with me...

seing we are on the topic, the only one worth getting is Timesplitters.
the singleplayer is suck, but multiplayer is awesome, its fast and furious.

my favorite ps2 games= ssx, madden2001, doa2, timesplitters and ttt. super bust a move is cool stuff too, but its just like the other versions of it.
