Received an offer from KISSLD in the mail. Best deal for telephone service I could find that fits my needs. I realize others may do better using cell phone minutes or phone cards.

No phone card to refill, no codes to dial first. Not an internet call. Can have two lines on the same bill. KISSLD is run by Covista Communications which has been in business since 1983. I switched my service about a week ago. They processed my order quickly and my phones have been working fine. You can't view unbilled usage online, so I won't be able to view my calls until my first bill.

I like the lack of restrictions and a great price. Haven't been using long enough to conclude how good they are with service. Offer and company appear legitimate so I gave it a try.

In state NJ calls are .03, other states may be higher.

Onesuite.com is great. 2.9 cents/minute nationwide and only 4.5 cents/minute to Germany. :D

Why not make Kiss your long distance carrier and use Onesuite for in state calls?

Kiss bills in 6 second increments, while Onesuite charges the full minute, so Kiss is probably a little cheaper on average for out of state calls. Well, maybe not when you add in the $3/mo fee.

I looked at Onesuite and the rates were very attractive. I just didn't want my wife to deal with calling an 800# first, or worrying about recharging the account.

my wife can dial those 800 numbers and we save a bundle! :)
thanks for the heads up, but for me
onesuite.com is still the way to go. program the numbers into your phone, ie pin and 800 number. you can have even have separate pin histrories for different members of the family.

i also gave up my ilec long distance carrier charge of four dollars.
