I use the newest stable version of mozilla and it's pop-up blocker works better than all the programs i've tried to run along side IE.

I just found admuncher the other day too, and it seems great to me! best of all it's written in PURE X86 ASSEMBLY!!! = 0 performance hit and practically 0 memory used

That's the worst feature of any app I've seen, that just means it's completely unportable and more error-prone.

It's actually a great little program, blocks almost ALL ads and I haven't gotten a single popup that I didn't want yet. It even took out the Anandtech ad at the top and to the left. It even took out the ads when I access hotmail, which is a pretty cool feature :) The only drawback is it makes the pages load a bit slower, but I think its worth it since it takes out almost all the ads.

the only 'free' one I could find that didn't have strings attached and wasn't trying to sell a better version was akiller.

I gave up though and just use Firebird. To me firebird will be almost perfect it'll allow you to turn off form fill (auto:config allows you to turn it off but it doesn't work with 0.6) and one of thing I can't think of yet...oh yeah include that Flash to View as built-in.
