Pretty decent video, especially when it seems like all the debate lately is focused on "doom & gloom" arguments. Nice to see someone intelligent actually bringing up and discussing points, instead of "THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!" or "MY COLD DEAD HANDS!".

A police officer describes the difference between a semi auto and fully auto rifle.

Heh...it's funny how often politicans and news anchors/writers get the two confused.

No. I'm willing to bet they do know the difference. They are hoping the uninformed masses don't and can use that to push their agendas/improve their ratings.

Possibly. One I remember recently is where a writer was describing a handgun and was talking about the person shooting the handgun and the rounds ejecting on to the floor in your typical over-wrought description. Only, the handgun that was being used was a revolver....

I'll give you a solid maybe on that one.

I still remember the news report I saw at a friend's house where the anchor was going on about a "semi-automatic machine-gun, capable of firing thousands of rounds per minute."

Or how finding 3 guns and 200 rounds of ammo in a guy's home constitutes a "deadly arsenal" to the media.

Christ, it if they searched my place I'd probably be accused of plotting to overthrow the government of a medium sized South American country.

Me too. I buy ammunition in cases of at least a thousand rounds if possible.

Lets see, two boxes is 200 rounds.
So if I have 2 boxes I have an arsenal?

To the media, yes.

Luckily I've got a triple layer German chocolate cake in the likeness of Donald Trump's head to distract her...
