These are great:

http://www.locklaces.com/

They are basically elastic laces with a pinch-lock on them. You lace them up, put on the lock mechanism, tie the laces, cut off the excess, and then slide up the little knot cover piece. After that, to tie your shoes you just pinch the lock and slide it down as tight as you want, and do the reverse to get out of the shoe. Brilliant! :D

Available on Amazon for five bucks:

http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF...ndtextbin=Lock%20Laces

Available in the following colors:

White
Pink
Red
Gray
Blue
Navy Blue
Brown
Black

You can use these with tennis shoes, hiking shoes, and even dress shoes if you want (black and brown are available). I got the white ones and my wife got the pink ones. You can cut the knot so that they don't get sucked into your bike gears either, which is really nice - no more rubber bands! :)

Does the little lock bounce up and down while you jog? Or do you just have to push it under one of the laces.

These are almost mandatory equipment for triathletes, helps with transition times and not having to stop to retie your shoes while hoofing it on the run.

Looks like the same concept as Yankz http://www.yankz.com/ . I use them for my retired running shoes for casual use and I know a lot of triathletes swear by them. They don't provide enough tension for me while I'm running though; my foot slides around as the laces are elastic. If I ever do triathlons though, I will definitely use those. I'm still at the kindergarten level when it comes to tying shoelaces. ;)

The lock itself fits snug against your shoe, as tight as you pull it. Once you release the push-latch, it's as good as a knot - it really clamps down on it. The little knot cover does bounce though...you can tuck it under your laces or just cut it really short. The lace itself is elastic, so it's pretty easy to adjust where you want it to go.

Wow neat! They have even more colors than LockLaces do, too! Now if I could just get those Power Laces from Back to the Future, I'd be all set...;)

Edit: Ooh, Yankz actually looks even better...it has a place for you to put the rest of the lace! Might have to pick up a pair of those to try out...thanks!
