It's extremely rare for a reasonably priced dental plan to cover braces or cosmetic work.

I have not heard of any legitimate, self-respecting company that does not offer full benefits. What is this, Wal-Mart? How can the job be attractive?

What world do you live in? Health and dental prices are expensive. Most small companies have a hard time offering anything, and many large companies make you pay a big chunk of the cost.

you're forgetting that most people here work for the top like 5 companies in the world and make a $1,000,000 a year, so they don't have to really worry about it.

That sounds about right, my dental visits would be $60 if I didn't have insurance. Also sounds right on the vision.

If it's a great offer and you don't have lots of family to worry about I would take it. Just budget for the dentist/vision expenses.

While they may not have seperate dental and vision coverage, some health plans actually cover the basics like annual cleanings and eye exams. It might be worth asking them.
