Great graphically intensive games

I'm looking for a new game that will push the i5 + 7950 to its limits, something that will make me not regret putting so much down on this system (I've found myself playing mostly older games or games that aren't graphically intensive). What else is out there?

I've already played Crysis 3 (loved it, beat it). I can't get invested into Metro 2033, Witcher 2, or Skyrim (not my type of games). Beat BF3, loved it. What else is out there?

Well, TressFX in Tomb Raider just released yesterday is sure to cut a few FPS. 🙂

Well, if you played and loved Crysis 3, you should consider Crysis 2 with the MalDoHD 4.0 mod.

Fantastic graphic quality abounds.

The STALKER games (all three really) can look very good with textures mods specifically (although vanilla still looks good in my opinion). Also, Crysis (the original) with texture mods looks very good and can still push systems to this day. I would also recommend Half-Life 2's Cinematic Mod, which has some of the best textures I've seen out there (note, I'm not referring to some of the "exaggerated" character models).

If you really want to "push" your system's limits you'll often have to download community-made textures, since most of the games that could be recommended are console ports, and under their default (even highest) settings it still doesn't do the PC platform justice, but that's also quite a subjective aspect and many would disagree. The best thing to do in my opinion is to look at the type of games you think you might like, and then search the web for possible extra texture mods and then try that and see if it's "better" for you.
