It is not easy, so far I had about 2 good landings and 4 crashes. It is possible though.

I seem to find a flat landing spot really close to the starting point every time. I've gotten 3 landings out of 1 tank of fuel.

I tried again and now I'm seeing flat surfaces all over the place. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention last time. I also didn't watch the whole tutorial video, so I didn't realize that flat really meant perfectly flat

It's pretty easy to land it if you find one of those spots that's an obvious landing spot. You can hit the ground fairly hard and still get a perfect landing.

The 3d one isn't right. The arrow keys aren't supposed to control the aircraft, only orient it.

It also seems particularly easy. I landed the first three and gave up.

If you start off near a decent size pit you can easily break 2,000 if you move over it provided it wasn't to far away.
