great deal on some General Mills cereal at Albertsons

Raisin Nut Bran and several versions of Cheerios and Chex are on sale this week at Albertsons -- $2.50/box, with an automatic $4 off when you buy 4 boxes.

Raisin Nut Bran is my favorite, but it's usually very expensive (~$5/box) and rarely on sale -- so this is excellent for me.

I bought 4 (almost all they had on the shelf) at one store for $6 and at check-out got a $2-off coupon for my next purchase of 5 boxes of cereal.
Went to another store tonight and bought 8 more boxes for $12 - $2 coupon = $10

Might be able to sweeten the deal a bit more if you have mfg. coupons.

Dude, Raisin Nut Bran is like $6.75 at my local Shop and Save. 4 boxes for 6 bucks is HOT.

And hey, $20 saved on breakfast cereal over 2 months is $20 more dollars that go into buying video games.

as I read it this is the Hot Deals forum, not the Hot Computer Deals forum or the Hot Electronic Gadgets Deals forum. And yes, quality breakfast cereals are expensive and a major profit center for grocery stores. Hot deals on this stuff are not all that common. Thanks OP, already loaded up.
