Price match BB price with cimpusa, then use the 10%, then in my gamepro magazine, they have a $10 instanly gift card that you can combine.

$139 - %10 coupon, - $10 gcard, - $60 rebates.

Actually for me it rang $129 - %10 coupon, - $10 gcard, -$60rebates.

$107 - $60 rebates.

$47 net

I know best buy has it for $150, and there are 2 rebates totalling $60, and there is a 10% coupon floating out there.

But I don't know about the rest of the stuff...

and how did u get it to $129? Where can we find the $10 GC? How much is compusa selling this for?

Do I need to be any more clear?

...

Fine. CompUSA has it for $129, I believe. If you get best buy to pricematch the after rebate price, this deal will work.

The compusa one is 2 mb cache, the best buys is 8 mb.
I think the chances are decent that it'll work, depending on the CSR you get.

Look, i don't know.

I showed the cleark the compusa ad, and she pricematched me.

Then, i used the %10 coupon.

Then in the current issue, it came in the mail yesterday, i found a $10 gift coupon when purschase more than $50 in peripherals.

Then we have $60 in rebates.

So that is what happen to me.

I'm going back tommorow, to use the $10 gift card.

I like how everyone jumped down MMX's throat when they didn't understand how he got to the bottom line price...lol.

:) Isn't that how it always works out? It'll be tough to pull this off, it REALLY depends on the CSR.

So to be more accurate, it is $129 - $12.90(coupon) + $9.58(tax) - $60 in rebates = $65.68

$65.68 for the drive for most of the people who are able to price match.

$65.68 for the drive and a $10 gift card for those who have the coupon mmx had.

If unable to pricematch, it is going to be about $10 more. $75.42 to be exact.

Hot deal!

Of course pricematching different drives, although the CSR doesn't notice... is not very ethical.

Just got back fm BB and did exactly the same thing that mmx just explained before even seeing this thread.:D The only difference is, I did not have the gamepro magazine with the $10GC which would have made this deal a lot sweeter.:D

I showed the csr the Compusa ad and the BB ad cuz the pics look the same. I don't know if Compusa has the 2 megs version(the ad did not indicate it) but BB is selling the 8 megs cache version.

CSR PM'd Compusa price of $129.99 and then I gave him the 10% coupon fm Dec issue of PC World bringing my total to $116.99( tax not included). The 2 MIRS of $20 and $40 will bring my 100MB HD to $56.99 not including tax.

This deal is good enough for me...missed the last 120MB HD for $99 deal fm BB.

SKU#'s are inventory numbers for the store, not the UPC, even tho they're similar sometimes.

Anyways, at the Blaine, MN BB, they checked the drive #'s and and I couldn't price match it with the non SE drive, they also said I couldn't combine the 10% off coupon and the $10 gift card coupon. So I did the 10% off that I printed out. Oh well, still happy with it tho.

I have to thank the Forums and the people here for spreading the word, so thanks!

U can combine, if she does a few transactions, not all at the same time

Wait, BB won't let you combine the 10% and $10 coupon. And these coupons are available in many magazines. I used a $10 gift card from Spin magazine. I don't know the other magazines off the top of my head but they are listed over in the F.W. forums.

I tried this in my local BB this morning before seeing this discussion. I was the first person there and grabbed the first of the four WD 100 GB HDs they had on the shelves. The other three were gone in about 7 minutes.

I got the HD price-matched to CompUSA with no problems. However, they did not let me use the 10% customer appreciation coupon on top of the PM. I tried two different CSRs.

So, the best I could do, was $69.99 AR not $56.99. As much as I wanted a big hard drive like that, I decided to pass on it because my 10 GB WD HD died on me last night. I've had bad experience with WDs.

For the lower price I would have risked it, but the higher price was not worth it.
