shrimp wrapped bacon toasted in the oven
Hell yeah, wrap the bacon in shrimp! This gives bacon the proper treatment, you don't add bacon to other things, you add other things to bacon!!!

😀

We take this to another level by seasoning the cream cheese with shredded cheddar, garlic salt, few tablespoons of bbq rub and chopped pepperoni.

Instead of the oven we smoke them for 2-3hrs.

Its a lot of work & money to make 2-dozen of these.

my dad does that. but fuck they are amazing.

I might be trying this for the superbowl! Sounds really good.

I tried a couple of the recipes in this thread. I think I liked the Won-tons the best. You can make a ton of them pretty quickly as well. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

Glad you liked them. They scale well to party sizes. You can toast up the won ton wrappers ahead of time and set them out, then put the filling in a crock pot to be self served over the course of the night.

BLT bites are always a hit at parties, a little bit of work but appreciated...

16 to 20 cherry tomatoes
1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled, or buy bacon bits, the real kind
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped green onions
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons snipped fresh parsley

Cut the stem top off the tomatoes, hollow them out and let them dry for an hour or so, mix the remaining ingredients together and fill them up🙂

meatballs, if you have a small crockpot, buy some frozen pre-cooked meatballs and dump in some bbq sauce.

or mini weenies, same process.

Here's an easy one everyone likes,
HOT ARTICHOKE DIP
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 cup chopped canned artichoke hearts

Combine all ingredients. Transfer to a baking and serving dish. Bake at 425°F until bubbly. Serve with baguette slices.

I'm a fan of potato skins, but they take quite a while to prepare. Use smaller potatoes, they're better for appetizers. Server with sour cream, chopped bacon, chives, maybe some salsa. Good stuff.

Step 2: Wrap bacon around anything edible.
