I just got off the phone with my dad in BC and I had totally forgot about the game on today in Ottawa. Anyone else going to watch it?

Go Lions! I was at the game last week, it was electric!

Great to see the CFL is making a comeback in B.C.

What's really cool is that they're building the new Argo stadium ON my campus (york). I can't wait to watch games up here!

Queen's > York > UoT!

*grin*!

In business anyways! 😀

Engineering anywhere > Queen's business 😛

$$$ from Business > $$$ from Engineering on average! 😀

Got any stats for that or is that just what your high school advisor told you? 😛
Most places that hire business school graduates will also higher engineers to do the same work (they're willing to train us); on the other hand companies that hire engineers will not hire a business graduate to do that work 😉

Well, the average starting salary for an investment banker is well over $100k (I'll find the stat again if it's a big deal 😛) then after 5-10 years it's $500k+ if you're still in the field.

Most engineers do engineering becuase they have a passion for it, not for the money. I know 😉 I was considering both fields.

Edit: Also, Noone is going to hire an engineer to do the work of a MBA student. Sure, they can teach you some stuff about business management, but if you think they'll teach you seven years worth of education you're mistaken.

Here's some stats.

Investment Banking
Electrical Engineer

You're on crack if you believe that everyone that goes into business school becomes an investment banker. Also, comparing someone with an MBA to someone with a B. Eng. is apples to oranges.

Anyhow, this conversation doesn't belong in this thread,

I don't care what most people do 😛 I know what I'm doing.
