GRAW2 is seriously flawed and UBI software is pulling the old EA games trick (C&C Generals) of continuing to throw the problems back in the laps of the owners always insisting it's your hardware. Just there line to get them out of addressing the serious issues this game has.

So... did you mean to post this in another thread? If not, how about giving some details instead of just saying its 'seriously flawed'.

I just bought this game this afternoon... seems to run fine for me, but then again, I am only about 10 minutes into the first mission.

Just bought GRAW (not 2) today, $19.95 at CompUSA.

Still trying to figure out the multiplayer thing, but on the local desktop it seems to work fine.

So deathwalker, will you please elaborate on why you said "GRAW2 is seriously flawed?"

Maybe your comments will sensitize me to see problems I might otherwise miss.

Thank you.

OK so after playing around for a while I did notice some "quirks" in the game, o the first mission, after I reached the second checkpoint I could go no further, the game just diddnt realize that I was at the checkpoint and I had to restart the game, oh well no big loss there.
At another point in the game, when my support guy reloaded his weapon he forgot to close the breach of his rifle and it was sticking strait up in the air. I dont know man, these guys must be deaf or somthing, I kept yelling at my monitor telling him to finish relaoding his weapon but he just diddnt hear me or something like that...
so far that is about it for problems for me, great game I think, I really wish that you could get the same control of your characters like the original series but oh-well.

I crash to desktop all the time, even with the 1.3 patch. I also cannot use my X-Fi sound card because the sound lags so much, they tell you at the official forums to use "Generic Software" instead.

I like some of the squad control, but they are some dumb mo-fo's. They will stand there screaming "Captain, I'm hit!!" and not move a muscle, just stand in the line of fire. Another flaw is they used to follow your stance, now if you want them to go prone you can't get them to. In fact, I don't think they ever do.

I'm on the final mission and I keep having to start it over because my squad can't seem to get behind frickin' cover and I lose them all. (If you get to the final mission you know there is no time between enemy waves to set your squad up properly with the tactical interface.)

Yet another crappy console port courtesy of Ubisoft.

Another GRAW's disaster sequel.
Stay away from PC version and buy/play console instead and I have done it both games.

Well, the problems continue even after the 1.3 patch, in fact the patch has introduced a new problem. The Stacks error crashes continue as do the Access violation crashes, now with the new patch myself and my game buddy now get the error "unable to access server" on Coop Campaigns. It also refuses to allow you to set the difficulty level on the Coop Campaigns higher than Normal for some reason. If you leave the game it seems now not to be smart enough to let you restart the Campaign later at the same level you left it at..you have to go all the way back to the first mission. This is were the Unable to access server error comes in, when you try to restart the last campaign level you were on. This wasn't a problem before the 1.3 patch and it is also being reported on the GRAW forum. Love this game but they are making it painful to not file for divorce!!

Greetings Group,

Well, I am having problems with this game also :frown: here's my other thread that I had made just last week:

NO-WORKIE

anyway, I love playing all of the games that are similar to that genre and when I had recently upgrade to my new system and finding out that GRAW2 doesn't play AT ALL

it was frustrating!! perhaps in another patch or two but who knows???

I loaded up ARMA last night and it played very smoothly so at least I have something
kinda military 😀 if anyone has any advice on getting this game to work I'm all ears 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Peace out!!!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I finally got it. I DL'd a new video card driver that was released for the new game called "Bio-Shock" and it worked like a charm...go figure 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕

and now comes the
