do you think she really made it back to earth alive?

Fucking 'critically acclaimed' movies and their cliched sad endings.

I will continue to be optimistic and hope that Sandra Bullock is dead. If only she had died at the beginning of the movie; then this would be a truly joyous film.

It's still in the theaters here. I can't imagine watching that movie any other way. You would need one hell of a home theater setup to make it worthwhile imo.

It's fiction. Only an idiot would think anything in that article hints anything other than the overt ending we were given.

Every single point is a stretch that makes it even less plausible than the implausibility of her getting back to Earth alive. I am laughing at the naivete of anyone who is so easily influenced by such an article. People like that are why Loose Change, New World Order, Illuminati, chem-trail, staged moon landing, and other BS theories continue rampantly spreading to idiots. Get a grip!

What a waste of time. That "alternate interpretation" is fucking stupid.

No kidding.

"Stone instead sees Kowalski who represents a father figure, and like most figures in NDEs, he's dressed in white".

Maybe because that's the color of his freaking space suit.

For those with a sense of humor.

Honest Trailers: Gravity

Haha, that is funny. I originally saw this at the local IMAX and have been worried about how it would end up at home. I've now watched it twice in 3D at home in the last week on a 55incher from 7 feet away. This movie still works for me. The only thing really lacking is I no longer get the sense that I'm up there floating along with the characters as I did with the large format viewing.

Yeah. That's what I was worried about. Seems like a big loss to me. You'd have to watch it alone with your face a few feet from the screen to get that experience at home...and then I'm not sure if 3D would work correctly.

Horrible movie. Pretty to look at, and had a couple of big names in it, but I can't wrap my head around why this would win an oscar (let alone several).

Did you watch it in a good theater?

Yup. It was a pretty movie but the character was very unlikable.

I can relate it to it being like watching an episode of The Walking Dead...you spend the entire time waiting for something to happen. Then it's over.

You't can't see why it would win every technical oscar? really?

Saw it the other night. Visuals looked great, but Sandra bullock was very annoying in this movie. A very run of the mill movie to me.

Saw the 2D blu ray version last night, will try to watch it again in 3D this week. I thought the pictures were a little grainy and the edges were some what out of focus like the whole movie was shot with 3D cameras, and they converted it back into 2D. Definitely not as sharp and clear as like Tom Cruise’s Oblivion. just my 2 cents.

Careful. It sounds like you're repeating something you've read in reviews for other movies. There shouldn't be any real film grain since everything was CGI or shot with digital cameras. I believe even the digital cameras weren't used for anything more than the actors' faces.

Did you miss the entire Internet community imploring you to watch it in the biggest 3D format you possibly could while you still had a chance to? Honestly, I don't think they should have even released it on home video because it's not the same experience at all. In IMAX 3D, it wasn't a movie...it was a ride. A thrill ride. I'm not even being figurative. Have you experienced the immersive projected video rides at theme parks? Examples: Back to the Future (Universal Studios) Soarin' Over California (Disneyland California Adventures). It's like that; only MUCH better.

I don't see how people such as yourselves can come into this thread and say something like this without saying *how* you watched it. If you didn't watch it in 3D on a 70+ inch screen with you sitting close and centered for maximum immersion, then you didn't experience the same thing. I believe 100% of IMAX 3D viewers will tell you that even the nicest home theater would not come close to the intended experience. You've actually spoiled any chance of experiencing it the right way because you already know how it ends. I'm sorry you missed out.
