I get this odd problem when running 3d accelerated games... As I turn the resolution up, instead of the game's frame rate going down, and the whole thing starting to move sluggish, like old timer me is used to, the graphics and sound all work fine, but there's a delay on all I do with mouse and keyboard, that increases the higher I set the resolution.
I get this problem on both my computers, I can see why it happens on my p2 400 mhz, 64 meg ram, running a tnt2 32 meg card, but NOT with my 1ghz, 512 meg ram, running a Geforce2. Sooo is this something that game makers do nowadays? Do they just give the graphics higher priority than the controls? I don't remember this happening on games I played around '98! Is there any way to work around this thing?
