Graphics Question

Hi, I have a GeForce 6800 with a 2.4 P4, 800FSB and 512MB of DDR400 ram.

Just wondering if it would be better for me to run games at 1024x768 with 4x AA or should I run them at 1280x1024 without AA enabled?

Also my games studder when i take corners or open doors. Would this be because of my CPU?

Thanks.

Upgrade to a gig of ram and your stuttering problem will be gone. As to your first question, you should run both settings and see which looks better to you.

Try both settings and see which you like best. Thats really the only way to tell. It will also look different in different games. I know in doom 3, higher res's are normally better than more AA, but like I said, you have to experiment to find out.

If a game does not have the option to enable AA does that mean that even if I enable AA in the nvidia control panel it won't work in the game. I'm playing brothers in arms and it does not have the AA option in the game so I enabled AA in the nvidia control panel and the game looks exactly the same. The jagges don't seem to be cleared up at all.
