I was playing my Doom 3 on my BFG 7600GT when suddenly my computer acted weird and the monitor was black so I restarted my computer.

I discovered that booting up in my normal 1280x1024 resolution would just shut the monitor off after the windows XP screen.

I can only boot in VGA mode and Safe mode at 640x480 and in 256 colours. When I try to change the resolution, the monitor would just shut off.

I have tried reinstalling the drivers but it doesnt work.

Did I break my card?

I dont have my reciept. Am I still eligible for the lifetime warranty?

Thanks a lot

i dunno, it probably depends on the manufacturer. you'll have to contact them or see what they requre for an RMA.

I had this problem once...

Did you uninstall your drivers and reboot?

When you do this, XP uses its generic driver, which defaults to 800x600@32-bit. If the screen still blanks out, then I would say it's your card.

If your card was purchased online, you can retrieve your receipt via the browser. Or if you remember the B&M, they probably have your receipt in their database.
