looking for a prebuilt (like a Dell or HP) workstation that's good for graphics apps like photoshop or illustrator and some autocad... something that can handle lots of vectors on an ai file. anyone got any recommendations? thanks

dells precision workstations are nice. unless your getting into heavy 3d they may be overkill. just max out a normal systems ram & cpu. autocad runs fine on any gaming card. the quadro cards are useful if you get into pro/e, 3dsmax ect...

Any computer place works. all you need is dual-core, memory, and a good 2d/3d graphics card, such as a quadro.

we already run a few precisions, they are all 3ghz P4s with 3GB RAM and still have problems running some of our heavier files... strangly my Athlon XP 2100+ workstation seems to be more stable than the Dells...
